This Iowa City, Iowa, B&B Inn, built as a lavish and luxurious European hostel in 1981, is being totally remodeled with an aviation theme by new owners, Jay and Mary Honeck. Each one, two or three bedroom suite reflects a different period of aviation history, with appointments to match the era. All suites have full-sized kitchens, and private Jacuzzi whirlpool hot tubs.

Stay in our "Pan Am Clipper Suite," decorated to echo the romantic 1930s era when the flying boats ruled the South Pacific. Peruse your newspaper while enjoying your delivered-to-your-suite Continental breakfast basket each morning in the privacy of your own dining area.

The entire family--or two couples--can enjoy the "Wright Brothers Suite's" two bedrooms, decorated in an early 20th Century Victorian style. Take your tea each morning on your balcony overlooking the pool area, while reading the New York Times, or take a dip in your private Jacuzzi whirlpool.

Our many fly-in guests (the Inn is located adjacent to the oldest airport west of the Mississippi, the historic Iowa City Airport) will appreciated our flight-planning lounge, complete with computerized weather and pilot's shop, as well as a free courtesy car and free rides to and from your plane.

Our Health Spa is open! We now offer our guests the use of a new poolside exercise room, with ergonomically designed machines to work out the stress of the day.

We have also added an on-site massage therapist! Antoinette Pinalt, RN, NCMT, has opened her offices in our health spa, and is offering therapeutic massage to our guests (and visitors) by appointment. As a registered nurse, Antoinette is able to provide a more healthful and health-care oriented massage experience, thanks to her knowledge of physiology.

Located less than a mile from the University of Iowa campus, hospitals, and over 50 fine restaurants, the Inn is ideally located for your next visit to Iowa City.
