In the tradition of European Country Inns, The Rukmapura Park offers quietly elegant suites in a magnificent spruce and pine lodge, designed and built in the graceful architectural tradition of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.
Set on 250 acres of rolling hills, streams, woods and native prairie, the Rukmapura Park offers many recreational amenities including two lakes for swimming and canoeing, several miles of walking and jogging trails, sauna and hot tub.
The San Francisco Room features a sports lounge and billiard parlor, and a complimentary organic breakfast buffet (with select packages). The San Francisco Room is also available for conferences.
Each
suite is finely appointed with extensive wood finishes, marble fireplaces and
baths and
natural fiber fabrics. Selected suites have kitchens and washer/dryers. All
suites have full service satellite TV, direct phone lines and high speed
internet. Spacious one
and two bedroom Chalets are also available on the property.
While staying at the Rukmapura Park there are many cultural, entertainment and recreational amenities within a few minutes walking or driving distance. In Maharishi Vedic City you will be able to visit the Maharishi Vedic Observatory, the world's only authentic replica of an ancient Vedic astrological observatory. Also in Maharishi Vedic City, the Raj Resort and Spa offers a fabulous daily vegetarian buffet lunch. Contiguous to the Rukmapura Park property and the surrounding area you can tour several organic farms and Iowa's largest organic dairy.
